Ability-to-Work Assessment
The Ability-to-Work Assessment provides the information necessary to make an appropriate determination regarding an injured worker's employability or eligibility for vocational rehabilitation services. It also helps injured workers plan for the future by identifying their return-to-work options.
Early Intervention
Early intervention services help an injured worker return to work, or continue to work for the employer of injury or the current employer. Modifications are appropriate at times.
Plan Development
Vocational plan development provides a written rationale for identifying the strategies to achieve the occupational goal, time, and costs involved, documentation to support the feasibility of the goal and responsibilities of the primary parties. I work with the injured worker in the development of the plan. The plan includes labor market research and a detailed description of the occupational goal. This is presented to the attending physicians for approval.
Plan Monitoring
Implementation and monitoring services assist an industrially injured or ill worker in successfully completing a vocational rehabilitation plan.
Services are provided in conjunction with physicians, physical therapists, mental health professionals, and employees Career Counseling includes vocational interest and aptitude testing, research into particular job markets and location of training sites for specific careers.
